What makes it worth it today? Friends.
I hope everyone had a safe and fun Independence Day. We sure did! The kids had a blast with all their friends plus a ton of sparklers and pop-its. We came to realize that this may be our last 4th here and I started to realize how much I appreciate our neighbors who have become great friends and how much we will miss them when we leave. I know I don’t just speak for myself, Lord knows the kids are really going to miss their friends when we move, but still thankful for the friends that they have. We really do love it here and it will certainly be hard to say goodbye when the time comes.
In other news #5’s foot is still bothering her, it would also help if she would keep her splint on and stop taking it off. Starting to understand why they will sometimes put little ones in a cast even if there wasn’t a break.
Due to the wonderful memories we were making today. Part 2 of my deployment survival series has to wait another day or two. Life with six kids means always being flexible. However I do hope to post it by the end of the week.
